Colors of the Galaxy brings it back to Earth with a collection of synthpop songs that feature a handful of Seattle’s best female vocalists. The downtempo introversion of tracks like The Perfect Lie and My Own Worst Enemy explore dark themes of self doubt, urban isolation and loneliness before the sweet hooks of the love songs In Your Galaxy and Come a Little Closer lighten the vibe, mixing up a variety of moods and sonic flavors.
Electron Love Theory
After realizing that every song he had ever written was in some way personalized by his own experience, ELT producer/ musician Jeff Leisawitz went out into the world and recorded stories from people with very different perspectives— a blind man, a heroin addict, a Buddhist mystic, a former prostitute— and fused their voices into the music.
The result is a series of non-linear stories that touch upon core human experience. It’s heavy. It’s deep. And it’s pretty much guaranteed to blow your mind.
This album earned Electron Love Theory the award winning title of “Best Independent Electronic Artist in the World” from ArtistDirect.com in 2000.
The Adventures of Captain Cryptic
Although this album is not an official Electron Love Theory release, it features ELT producer Jeff Leisawitz on electric guitar and bass. The songs were co-written with international chart topping artist Aaron English.
